Terms of service

These terms apply to every order placed on sorvola.com. The seller is Sorvola, Via Alessandro Manzoni, 24030 Barzana (BG), Italy, hello@sorvola.com (see our Contact information). Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

1. Our pieces

Every Sorvola piece is made to order in our first production run, limited to 50 pieces, each one numbered. The images on the site are renderings and the dimensions are approximate. If you need an exact measurement or a detail before you decide, ask Client care.

2. Prices

Prices include VAT where it applies and are shown in your local currency. Shipping is not included: we quote it for your address and invoice it before dispatch. Import duties and taxes outside the European Union are not included and may be charged by the carrier on delivery. The price of your piece is fixed on the day you order and does not change afterwards.

3. How you order and pay

You can reserve a piece by paying a 20% deposit today, or pay the full price today with 5% off. Your contract is formed when we email you the order confirmation. If you paid a deposit, we invoice the balance of the price, together with shipping, before dispatch. If you paid in full, we invoice only shipping. A discount code that takes a percentage off your piece applies to the balance too. Your piece is dispatched once the invoice is paid. If you do not pay it within 14 days, we may cancel the order and refund what you paid, in full.

4. Delivery

Delivery is in 10 to 12 weeks from your order. We email you the dispatch date before your piece ships. Each piece is packed by hand and shipped with tracking and insurance. If we cannot deliver within that time, we tell you as soon as we know, and you can cancel and get back what you paid, in full.

5. Cancelling, withdrawal and guarantee

You can cancel at any time before dispatch and we refund what you paid, in full. After delivery you can withdraw within 14 days, without giving a reason. Every piece is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery. The details are in our Refund policy.

6. Installation and use

Install and use your piece following the instructions supplied with it. Fixed electrical installations should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

7. Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence and for defective products.

8. The site

The content of this site, including texts, images and designs, belongs to Sorvola and may not be copied or reused without our permission. How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy policy.

9. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms; the version in force on the day of your order applies to it. These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live. Before anything else, write to us: most questions are solved with one email.
